Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
(TAE10)
The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment "Train the Trainer" course is designed for people who are working as Workplace Trainers and Assessors and also those who plan to move into the training and assessing field.
The course is delivered via blended learning, which is a combination of in class and self paced study. The upgrade qualification of the course involves participating in 3 half days (one session per week) of face-to-face classroom delivery. The full certification can be taken either full time (5 full days) or part time (9 half days, one session per week).
Outside of class time, participants are required to complete a major project and several assessment tasks.
Attainment of the TAE10 qualification is a requirement for gaining employment as a Trainer and Assessor within private and government Registered Training Organisations, and in a similar role within organisations that are not RTOs. An emerging trend is for inclusion of Training & Assessing qualifications in ‘mainstream’ jobs across a broad variety of occupations and industries.
Our highly experienced Trainers and Assessors deliver the course and with many years of training experience to share with the participants.
Government Funding: Under the Skilling Australia for the Future initiative, the Australian Government has funded the Productivity Places Program (PPP). This funding is available to employers for the training of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment for their employees. Click here for more information.
Recognition of Prior learning (RPL) is "the acknowledgement of the skills and knowledge" that you have gained through previous studies, work and life experiences. If RPL is granted, this will mean that you will not have to complete the study or assessments for a unit or units of competency. Click here for more information.
